‘I qualified as a Knoff Yoga teacher in Australia in 2009, she now holds a Level 7 certificate through the Knoff Yoga System and continues to study with master teacher Nicky Knoff today. Gaining a post graduate diploma in Yoga Therapy through Devon School of Yoga in 2012, I was soon drawn to the therapeutics of practice and has continued to follow the path of therapy developing her skills further through extra studies in to yoga for mental health and women’s health and wellbeing, eventually gaining a certificate in Womb Yoga with world renowned teacher Uma Dinsmore-Tuli.
More recently I completed an in-depth training with Dr Apte, an Ayurvedic doctor and medical GP at the AyurvedaPura academy in London and I am now working as a full time Ayurvedic Lifestyle and Diet Consultant, complementing my yoga therapy practice. I founded of Synergy Yoga & Therapy and I specialise in yoga therapy for mental health, women’s health, injury rehabilitation and back-care. ‘
Aimee holds a Level 3 counselling skills certificate to help support clients and students further. You can expect to find a collective of alignment focused sequencing in Aimee’s group sessions, incorporating flow and creativity. Her background and passion for yoga as a therapy reflects in her deeply nourishing restorative sequences/workshops, clients find that such workshops have profound effects on their emotional, physical and mental wellbeing. Through a concoction of compassion and humility she encourages students to travel home to their bodies, to rest back into ‘being’ rather than the ‘doing’ of practice.
