Join Caroline at the stunning Shambala Petit Hotel, Tulum Beach, Mexico and dive into an ocean of flowing yoga. Go to sleep and wake up to the sound of the sea, meditate on the beach at sunrise and practise yoga in Shambala’s beautiful Yoga Shala.
During this glorious retreat of Caribbean sunshine we will focus on going with the flow, riding the waves, rather than struggling against them and enjoying the natural splendour of this divine location.
Caroline will teach yoga twice daily, suitable for beginners and intermediates, designed to open your body, loosen your joints and ease tensions.
Starting the day with a sunrise meditation on the beach, followed by pranayama/breathing exercises and continuing with an energising vinyasa practise, synchronising breath with movement in Shambala’s beautiful Yoga shala located right on the beach.
A full breakfast will be served at 9am then you will be free to get horizontal on the beach, lie in a hammock or explore the many sights and sounds of this colourful coast.
Lunch will be served at 2pm and the afternoon practise will be more gentle and playful, incorporating elements of Hatha and Restorative Yoga. The day will end with a delicious dinner served at 7pm.
This isn’t your typical, strict, back-to-back yoga retreat but more of a yogic holiday escape, so feel free to indulge in a croissant or cup of coffee as well! Be as relaxed or as active as you like during your vacation with optional activities such as Thai, Swedish, Sport and Deep Tissue Massage, visit the Archaeological Sites, (Mayan Ruins), Cenotes, Kite Surf Lessons, Bike Rentals, Sweat lodge Ceremonies, Snorkelling, Diving, Paddle Boarding or even take your yoga to the water with SUP Yoga.
Of course, after an energising asana class, you can choose to relax by the Caribbean Sea with a good book.
